Our Philosophy
Our farming philosophy is to take the method of non-action and to be synchronized and in harmony with the law of nature. We are an all natural farm and use no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Inspired by the farming philosophy of Japanese farmer, Masanobu Fukuoka, and the "three sister" companion planting of the native Indians, we gratefully employ nature to balance our ecosystem.
Strategy
The "do nothing" technique and watch nature balance our Farm's ecosystem. The law of nature will eradicate the bad bugs as long as we don't poison our good bugs.
Heirloom Seeds
Heirloom vegetables are old-time varieties, are open-pollinated instead of hybrid, and saved and handed down through multiple generations of families. They are rich in color, flavor and minerals. They are seeds with a history and crops as nature intended.
Taste the Difference
A crop with a higher refractive index will have a higher sugar content, higher mineral content, higher protein content and a greater specific gravity or density. This means a crop with a sweeter taste that is more minerally nutritious with better storage attributes
